Pubs up and down the country play a vital role not only in the economy but in our local communities too. As we approach a busy time for bars and pubs, Peter Gibson the Member of Parliament for Darlington has launched a competition aimed at supporting pubs and bars across Darlington.
The MP is encouraging people to nominate their favourite pub in the “Darlington’s Perfect Pint” competition. All customers need to do is scan a QR code, fill in a couple of details about their nomination and the pub or bar with the most nominations will be announced as the winner.
The competition will run throughout Christmas and January, patrons will also be able to vote online at the following address: www.petergibson.org/pubs
Peter Gibson MP said: “I want to recognise the work pubs and bars do to support a sense of community and pride of place”.
“That’s why I am launching Darlington’s Perfect Pint competition, which is open to every venue in Darlington. I would encourage patrons to nominate their favourite pub to support regognising those venues that create a real sense of community”.
All pub and bars across Darlington will receive competition posters and beer mats, which are designed to help spread the message and support customers in nominating their favourite venue.
