Member of Parliament for Darlington, Peter Gibson, will be hosting a series of community chats focused on connecting with those in the community that have been affected the most by the impact of COVID-19.
Launching his new campaign Connect: Chat: Share, Peter is inviting groups from single parent households to carers to NHS staff to meet with him for a chat about their experiences to understand if there is anything further he can do to support them as the impact of coronavirus continues to affect the community.

Peter Gibson, Member of Parliament for Darlington, said: “I have met with local business owners, headteachers, healthcare providers, the police and Darlington Borough Council to establish how I can support them throughout this ongoing pandemic but I also want to ensure that I give the Darlington community the opportunity to tell their story on how Covid-19 has impacted on them.
I have pulled together an extensive list of who I think may have been impacted most and will be updating the list as I continue these conversations.”
