A LOCAL Darlington independent business visited No. 10 Downing Street as part of a local champion’s programme recently.
Ann and John Coxon owners of Leggs Fashion met with the Secretary of State for Levelling Up Michael Gove MP at an event to showcase the work of local businesses and to celebrate individuals who have been key to local success.
Speaking about Ann and John’s success Peter Gibson MP said “Leggs fashion is a family run boutique which has brought us to fashion to people in the northeast of England for over 100 years.
“Set in the beautiful, cobbled streets of our town centre, Leggs offers an alternative to the High Street stores that have dominated the retail industry for too long.
“The success continues to have the testament to the outstanding service that John and Ann and the team at Leggs offer. Consistently going above and beyond to ensure their customers are given the most professional experience possible, and guaranteeing an impressively wide selection of perfectly curated items, Leggs is one of the finest examples of an independent business we have in our town”.
