FREE PARKING CANCELLED BY LABOUR
It's hugely disappointing to see the Labour minority council introduce parking charges across Darlington Town Centre.
The 2hrs FREE parking offer introduced by the Conservative Council has been a lifeline for our town centre businesses, and has helped thousands of our residents with their living costs and directly puts money into our local economy.
I fear for our fragile town centre businesses continuing to build back post pandemic.
I fear for those in our community who benefited from this small help with their cost of living.
